Well, Valentine's Day is coming up, so I made this. You see, the pink smiley's handing out luff to everyone, but doesn't give any to the red one. And the red one hasn't gotten any valentines, like, ever, and this is just another year for him. So he CRIES! But wait? What's this? LUFFF!!!!
The way I make them is by creating all the basic elements (i.e. each smiley and the various possible facial expressions it can have) on seperate layers in Photoshop. Then, using ImageReady, which in case you don't know is Photoshop's companion program for web graphics, I move the layers around in various frames of animation to create stuff.
Of course, there are lots of ways. But since you seem to use Photoshop, I recommend you check out this tutorial: [link]

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
